December - Wild Thyme Farm and Nursery
Desiree Stone and Dan Cobb
Situated on a three acre Mandeville Farm, the locally owned greenhouse and nursery grows a variety of plants which are sold at the market each Saturday morning. Plants include succulents, air plants, herbs, annuals, ferns, perennials and house plants. Desiree and Dan also design, setup, and maintain patio gardens for local businesses including the St Tammany Art Association and the Columbia St. Tap Room. The nursery is open by appointment and on seasonal sales days.

Desiree Stone has been referred to as an “Earth Mother” by Dan Gill. She is a Licensed Horticulturist with over 36 years of experience. Born in New Orleans, Desiree has owned a nursery in Arkansas as well as the Lacombe Nursery. For years, she served as the Greenhouse Manager at Inwood Gardens and currently, she works with her son, Dustin Stone, at Aesthetic Landscape Solutions. Dan has been in sales and marketing for over thirty years. After attending LSU, he worked in the Oilfield and Foodservice Industry.
